An aesthetician, or dermal therapist, is a professional with university-level qualifications in advanced dermal therapies and undergraduate training in dermal interventions. We are skin care specialists who are trained to offer a range of treatments, including medical skin procedures, to improve and maintain skin health. Treatments can range from medical facials and chemical peels to more intensive procedures like laser therapy, Fractional Radio Frequency and more.On the other hand, a beautician, typically with a diploma in beauty therapy, provides a broad spectrum of beauty services such as basic facials, massage, nail care, and waxing, which are generally more relaxation-focused. While beauticians deliver essential relaxing treatments, aestheticians are equipped to address more complex skin health issues with a higher level of expertise.
